~100 projects

All ages welcome

One Sunday morning, we trade the building for the neighborhood — around 100 projects across Mansfield and the towns around it. Pick one that fits your family and your schedule, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Most needed

Lead a team

Around 100 projects only happen if around 100 people say yes to leading one. You’ll get the project details, a way to reach your team, and a staff contact — you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Neighbors welcome

Submit a project

Home repairs, yard work, a deep clean, sorting and organizing, meals — tell us the need and we’ll build a team around it. You don’t have to attend Creekwood to send one in.

Limited spots

Register for childcare

Childcare is provided for the morning so parents can serve. Spots are limited and they fill up, so register early. Plenty of projects are kid-friendly too, if your family would rather serve together.

One of our five core values

We Serve Always

Serve Day is the once-a-year, all-at-once version of something we hold every week. We’re not going out to be seen doing it. We’re going because our neighbors have real needs and we have hands, trucks, ladders, casserole dishes, and a Saturday-morning kind of Sunday.

On the ground it looks ordinary: home repairs for someone who can’t manage them anymore, yard work, meals delivered, closets and pantries sorted and organized, a fresh coat of paint on a classroom. Bring what you’re good at — or bring nothing but a willingness to be told what to do next.

Before you go

The practical stuff

Go straight to your project — not to the church.

Serve Day doesn’t start at 7701 Rendon Bloodworth Rd. in Mansfield. Drive directly to your project’s address, which comes with your project details, and your team leader will confirm the start time with you beforehand.

How the morning works

1. Pick your project
Browse what’s available and find one that fits your family, your schedule, and what you’re good at.

2. Sign up with the leader
Every project has a team leader. They’ll confirm your time and tell you anything you need to bring.

3. Show up ready
Drive to the project address that morning, meet your team, and get to work. That’s the whole plan.

What to bring

  • Water — more than you think
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug spray, if your project is outdoors
  • Clothes you don’t mind ruining

Tools, gloves, paint, supplies — if your project needs anything beyond that, your team leader will tell you ahead of time. Nobody should be surprised on the day.

Bringing kids?

Plenty of projects are genuinely kid-friendly — sorting, packing, painting, delivering meals — and serving side by side is one of the best things you can do with a Sunday morning.

If your family would rather you serve hands-free, childcare is provided for the morning. Spots are limited, so register early.
