Critters > Volunteers

Every Sunday, Creekwood volunteers show up and work together in their unique roles to create a loving environment for our nursery, toddlers and preschoolers. Creekwood Critters is completely fueled by volunteers. We could not exist without their leadership and expertise. Some of the volunteer roles are:

Teachers are responsible to oversee and delegate the overall needs of the children within a classroom. They are responsible for communicating the lessons and activities each week as well as greeting the children and parents as they arrive.

Assistants are there to aid teachers in the lesson, interacting with children, and greeting parents.

This team greets new families as they enter Critters and guides them through the process of checking into classrooms.

This team prepares our Critter classrooms for our children by setting up the supplies and toys and/or closes our classrooms down by packing up supplies and toys to load.

This team prepares the supplies for the lesson and activities for each class, a month in advance.
