Baby Dedication is not the salvation of the child, but a public expression of the fact that he or she belongs to God. This "setting apart" is an act by the parents, a prayerful declaration of their stewardship over God's child. As the parent, you are declaring that you will do your best to raise your child in a godly home and we as a church are pledging to support and pray for you and your family.

A Baby Dedication is...

• A time when you as parents recognize that your child belongs to God.
• A time when you acknowledge your God given responsibility to pray daily for God’s direction in your lives, to teach your child the truths of God’s word in your home, and to faithfully attend church with your child.
• A time when you acknowledge these truths publicly in the presence of the body of Christ.
